Matt C: I guess you could say the appearance of a new Top 15 from the PCG is nothing if not sporadic, but when we finally do get around to it, we do so enjoy compiling a good list! As is always the case, what's changed since the last time we did one of these is just as interesting as what made the cut this time. Deadly Class makes a deserved return to the summit after being nudged aside by Lazarus (which is AWOL due to its current hiatus) and it's the Rick Remender title that clearly resonates the most with the PCG. Greg Rucka's latest slice of brilliance, The Old Guard, makes up for Lazarus' non-appearance with a high placing. Marvel makes something of a comeback with four books in the chart, but it's still Mighty Thor leading the way for the House of Ideas. Noticeably absent is anything from DC, seemingly showing that the 'Rebirth' initiative hasn't really made a significant impact, for us at least. And a final observation: with three books in the Top 15 (and perhaps Old Man Logan could make it three and a half?), clearly Jeff Lemire is out current favourite writer (and writer/artist), and it's a fairly good bet that Black Hammer, Royal City and Descender will make a repeat appearance next time we put our list-compiling hats on!
